Work in progress. A collage and assemblage in work for the upcoming Sherman Ats Festival. Cowboys on the Texas Kidd's Reproduction of Frontier Days. Hired for 25.5 per week, 25 hamburgers and fifty cents. It was the depression y'all. "Texas Kid's Reproduction of Frontier Days" was a traveling Wild West Show, Rodeo, and Carnival in the early 20th century. Many of these photos and transfers are from the 1920s. My great grandmother was the Texas Kid, and my grandfather the Texas Kid, Jr. Texas Kid, Jr. rode in the Madison Square Garden Rodeos as well.
