I'm continuing to work on my Texas Landscapes Series focusing on an urban scene - The Texas State Fair. The State Fair is now ending and did not have to robust attendance of years past in large parts because it was so expensive. The cost for a family on a meager budget entering, consuming food and drink, and going to shows or the midway would spend well over $500. It remains an iconic experience and presence in Dallas. I hope the organizers and vendors can make it more budget friendly. Even the Auto Show had an entrance fee!
