Most of my small gouache works explore landscapes of urban or geological historic landmarks. As I set out to create these artworks, my process begins with selecting subjects that allow for the integration of a fauvist style palette. This involves using intense, analogous or complementary hues that resonate with the original spectrum of color, a choice that brings vibrancy and life to the landscapes.
